A New York Serendipity Story!

Serendipity is quite an important concept, especially for anyone visiting New York city. And this is the best way to describe my encounter with Pascal.
As a model from Canada with some free time on my hands, I was exploring the magical Christmas decor at Hudson Yards and was trying to capture some decent shots with my phone and tripod for Instagram. While I had four other bookings in the city that week, I could not resist the urge to capture some holiday reels, and I was secretly wishing I had a photographer with me.

As I was twirling around, through the corner of my eye, I noticed Pascal snaping a couple of images of me and I thought to myself: “Do wishes come true so fast on Christmas in New York, or is he another tourist, amused at the Instagram craze and my waking about the same spot for half an hour?”

As it turns out, Pascal is an amazing photographer from France and a wonderful human being. We ended up chatting and doing a short shoot that day with some amazing results. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning from earlier that morning, so we had to postpone the rest of our shoot for the following day. But I will never forget how kind he was and how he bought food and a drink for me to help me feel better and made sure I was in a cab and got safe to my hotel that day.

The following day, I was back in shape and we both were so excited about our shoot. We started from Hudson Yards and kept walking to the High-Line, taking shots along the most picturesque urban park in the world. The images we took are stunning, and it is so easy to work with Pascal. He is creative, open to discussing poses and looks and just very easy to communicate with. I was very impressed with the results and his talent.

Pascal made the magic of Serendipity possible in New York, and I can not wait to visit him in Paris this summer. I am eager to immortalize the romanticism of that city through our images!
